Russian Post

With the Russian Post app, you can track shipments, find the nearest post offices on a map, check working hours, rate branch efficiency, and much more. Part of the functionality is also accessible without a mobile internet connection.

First launch

Every time you open the app, you will find yourself on a screen displaying nearby post offices. Location information is determined using GPS or Wi-Fi.

By selecting one of the post offices, you can view its exact address, postal code, and working hours. By the way, access to this data is provided even without a mobile internet connection. There is also an option to rate the branch's performance and voice any complaints.

Features

Still, the main feature that users will find useful is shipment tracking. By tapping the "Shipment tracking" feature on the main screen, you enter the tracking number and type (across Russia, to/from Russia) to receive the necessary information.

After a short wait (depending on your connection speed), a graphical representation of the route the package has traveled appears on the screen. It displays the current location, as well as dates and timestamps for passing customs checkpoints, sorting facilities, and other locations.

The app is quite convenient, yet it still has several drawbacks. For instance, the program does not allow pasting a number from the clipboard (the tracking code must be entered manually).
