Myspoti is a Spotify client for Android that brings music playback from regular Spotify accounts without ad interruptions, while also providing song downloads for offline listening. The app maintains access to home, search, library, playlists, podcasts, Spotify Connect, and Android Auto within a native Android interface.

Spotify playback without ad interruptions

Myspoti uses the official Spotify Web player embedded inside the app, controlling its own interface. Free accounts can pick songs, skip as many tracks as needed, and use a reorderable queue by dragging tracks. Other playback features include shuffle, Smart Shuffle, repeat, crossfade, and a sleep timer.

Audio downloads and music library

Songs, albums, playlists, or entire Liked Songs can be downloaded in CD-quality lossless FLAC or 24-bit hi-res when available. A smaller AAC option is also provided. Myspoti matches identical recordings using ISRC from Tidal or Qobuz catalogs and verifies them before saving. Downloaded playlists can automatically sync with track changes on Spotify.

Downloads are stored inside Myspoti and can be played offline. Users' local audio files can also be used. However, the app does not download Spotify audio directly and does not bypass DRM. Songs without a lossless source will be marked as unavailable. Songs played from downloads are not reported to Spotify and only count toward Myspoti's recap.

Lyrics, video, and playlist management

The app displays word-by-word synced lyrics when timing is available, or line-by-line according to Settings preferences, including translations. Song meaning explanations from Genius can be accessed via the lightbulb icon or by tapping underlined lines. Official music videos can be played in sync with songs, in full screen, with options to use the video's audio or keep the song's audio.

Account settings and usage logs

Users sign in through Spotify's login page using their standard account; Myspoti states it never sees your password. The app also features recaps for songs, artists, and albums stored on your phone, a data saver, battery saver, AMOLED black theme, accent color choices, and seven languages. If Spotify blocks playback on a specific account, diagnostic reports can be exported to share via Discord or GitHub issues. These reports contain recent logs and phone model details, not passwords or login tokens.
