Plants vs Zombies - Crazy Multiverse is a tower defense game where you fight hordes of zombies through portals into parallel realities. Here you'll find not only classic flowers and dancing mushrooms, but also allies from other fantasy worlds and cyberspace. Build your defenses by combining plants with unexpected abilities, and figure out how to stop the invasion in each dimension.
Description
The universe of the game is a kaleidoscope of alternate realities where the laws of physics and logic change from level to level. In one world the dead wear knightly armor, in another they turn into cyborgs with laser eyes, and in a third they hover over the battlefield in pumpkin UFOs. The story revolves around a mad professor who accidentally opened portals between dimensions, and now the player must clean up the consequences of his experiments.
The main goal is to protect your home (or its alternate versions: a castle, a space station, an underground bunker) from waves of the undead. To do this, you place flowers on a limited area, taking into account their unique properties: some slow enemies, others explode, and others create barricades. But there are no template solutions here, since the rules change in each universe. For example, in the "magical" world sprouts require mana instead of sunlight, while in the "cyber" universe you first have to hack the defense system to activate traps.
The gameplay will make you plan tactics for every battle. First you accumulate resources by installing energy generators, then you form defensive lines, anticipating enemy routes. However, Crazy Multiverse holds surprises: sudden bosses, changing landscapes, and weather effects (blizzards, acid rain) that affect the combat effectiveness of plants. Some missions shift to a "reverse invasion" mode, where you play as the zombies to understand their tactics and weak points.
There is a campaign with a branching storyline where your choices affect the ending, daily challenges with a limited set of plants, and cooperative missions for two players.
