About ReStory

In ReStory, the repair shop is where old technology gets another chance to work. Classic consoles, vintage phones, and music players aren't just broken hardware; each one carries meaningful memories for its owner.

Nostalgia plays a central role in the story, whether you remember mid-2000s tech firsthand or are discovering it for the first time. Rather than fast-paced action, the game focuses on patience, empathy, attention to detail, and genuine human connection.

ReStory Gameplay

Each job starts with inspecting the device, diagnosing the problem, sourcing the right spare parts, and carefully putting everything back together. The shop handles classic video game consoles, vintage mobile phones, and old music players, so every repair presents its own technical puzzle.

Away from the workbench, you chat with customers and pick responses as they open up about the memories tied to their devices. You also set job priorities, weigh parts costs against revenue, and decide between quick, profitable fixes and longer jobs that can earn lasting customer loyalty.

ReStory Features

Nostalgic Electronics Restoration

The restoration process lets you work with iconic technology from the past across several connected stages. Accurate diagnosis, smart component selection, and precise assembly all determine how well each job turns out.

Diverse Retro Devices

The shop doesn't deal with just one type of electronics. You'll see classic game consoles, old mobile phones, and music players, each with its own characteristics and repair challenges.

Personal Customer Stories

Customers don't only come in to drop off broken devices; they also share why the object matters to them. Stories of love, loss, and nostalgia tie the shop's work directly to the lives of its owners.

Consequential Dialogue Choices

The responses you pick in conversations can change your relationship with customers and the direction of their stories. Your words can also affect the shop's future, so choose them carefully.

Shop Resource Management

Running a repair shop requires business sense as well as technical skill. You'll need to manage component costs, service revenue, and the order in which devices get worked on.

Profit vs. Loyalty Dilemma

Not every job benefits the shop and the customer equally. Quick repairs can bring faster profits, while jobs that take extra effort can help build customer loyalty.
