Description

Renamer Pro is a utility that makes it possible to rename many files from your internal or external storage at once. It is an upgraded version of the Bulk Rename application.

Rename your files in bulk with three easy steps: 1. Choose the files Pick the files you want to rename using the built-in file browser. 2. Set up the rename rule Build your own naming configuration with the available options. 3. Preview and apply Check a preview of the new file names before you confirm and start the renaming process.

Rename Configuration

Building your own rename configuration takes just two steps.

1. Choose a name format.

You can combine several building blocks to create the new name format, and each one can be tailored and arranged in any order you like.

✓ Original Name – Inserts the file's current name, which serves as the starting point for every configuration. ✓ Parent Name – Inserts the name of the folder the file sits in. ✓ Indexing – Inserts an automatically incrementing number. Options include start value, step size and zero padding. ✓ Text – Inserts custom text of your choice. ✓ Date & Time – Inserts the file's last modified date and time, with a fully customizable format. ✓ EXIF Data – Pulls EXIF data from images and adds it to the file name. ✓ Audio Metadata – Pulls metadata from audio files and adds it to the file name. ✓ Random Text – Inserts randomly generated text. Options include length and character type.

2. Apply modifiers (optional).

Once your name format is in place, you can layer on a set of modifiers to refine it further.

✓ Change Case – Converts the name to lowercase, uppercase, sentence case or camel case. ✓ Change Extension – Modifies the file extension or removes it entirely. ✓ Add Character at Position – Inserts characters or words at a position you specify. ✓ Trim Whitespaces – Strips whitespace from the start, the end or every occurrence. ✓ Remove Characters – Deletes selected characters or words from the name. ✓ Remove Multiple Characters – Deletes several characters or words at once, entered as a comma-separated list. ✓ Remove Characters by Type – Deletes all numbers, letters, non-numbers or non-letters. ✓ Remove Characters at Position – Deletes a set number of characters starting from a chosen position. ✓ Remove Characters by Regex – Deletes characters that match a regular expression. ✓ Replace Characters – Swaps every occurrence of a target with the text you choose. ✓ Replace Characters by Regex – Swaps every match of a regular expression with the text you choose.

3. Check the live sample. A live sample appears at all times and refreshes each time you change the configuration.
