Players roll dice to cultivate their civilization from a modest homeworld into a vast Federation that spans multiple star systems. Each game allows for the creation of diverse civilizations by combining unique Homeworlds and Societies, each with distinct abilities, milestones, and technologies. Players must establish colonies, develop technologies, launch probes for scientific research, and construct fleets to expand their influence. Strategic dice management is crucial, as every roll contributes to the player’s progress, making the game more about skill than luck. Players face off against various Adversaries, each presenting unique challenges that require tailored tactics to overcome.
