Forts Mobile is a mobile real-time strategy game where you become the commander of an island base. Your task: build fortifications, upgrade your troops, and wipe out the enemy's fort in two minutes flat.

The action unfolds on miniature islands, where every grain of sand is a potential resource. You are the chief engineer and tactician in one. Your base is a network of buildings: from resource mines to defensive towers.
Each structure affects unit production or the unlocking of technologies. The universe is styled as futurism and steampunk: laser cannons sit alongside wooden barricades, and soldiers in high-tech armor storm enemy walls.
The first seconds decide whether you manage to raise a wall before the attack or are left without protection. Controls are simplified for touchscreens: tap a building to select it, swipe to place it. Heroes are a key element. For example, a Sniper with a laser sight eliminates enemies behind the front line, while an Assault trooper breaks through defenses with a dash.
Every action spends one of two currencies: crystals (rare, earned in battles) or coins (basic, accumulated for victories). Upgrading heroes is mandatory: without leveling up, their skills are useless against upgraded opponents. The destruction physics, familiar from the PC version, is simplified here: walls collapse block by block rather than following the laws of dynamics, but visually it looks spectacular, especially when a bomb detonates in the center of the enemy base.
Features
- Short matches: 2 minutes per round. This is not a drawback but a feature: the game is ideal for short breaks, but demands lightning-fast decisions.
- Hero system: 12 unique characters with upgrade paths. For example, the Engineer speeds up construction, while the Artilleryman increases attack radius.
- Expandable islands: add new zones for resource mining or defensive structures. Each expansion unlocks access to powerful cannons, such as plasma guns.
- No support: the game has been abandoned by the developers. There are no new events, balance patches, or bug fixes.
