Gameplay

Users are simply invited to drive around in various agricultural vehicles across villages and fields. There are no specific goals in the game, and driving around the village is not much different from driving across a field.

Graphics and controls

The visual component of the game is quite mediocre. Models of combines, tractors, and other agricultural machinery are detailed quite well, which cannot be said about the surrounding locations and background objects. The game also does not feature a large open world.

You can drive across the entire map from one end to the other in almost a minute. The graphics are not particularly rich either – in the virtual world of Farming Simulator 2017 there are no dogs, geese, farmers, or anyone "alive" at all. However, the vehicle sound effects in the game are quite realistic.

The control system in the game is simple. On the left is the steering wheel, which acts as a kind of "Left" and "Right" keys. On the right is a lever responsible for movement speed. Players note that the convenient control system is almost the only aspect for which the developers can be praised.
