Description
Double Dragon TrilogyDouble Dragon Trilogy features two game modes (arcade and story) and three difficulty levels, including the lowest one (specially designed for mobile devices – "Mobile"). The developers have also added a co-op mode for battles over Bluetooth.
Gameplay
This game is one of the earliest titles in the beat 'em all genre. In fact, it is even considered the progenitor of this genre. Players will take control of a martial arts master and set out to rescue a kidnapped girlfriend.
Strike with elbows and punches, knees and kicks, headbutts, and use a variety of street weapons to quell the fury of your enemies, perhaps even permanently.
Controls and Graphics
The control system is implemented in a traditional way for modern touchscreen devices.
A virtual joystick on the lower left controls movement, while a set of action buttons on the right includes punch, kick, and jump.By combining buttons and joystick movements, you will be able to perform numerous strikes, super attacks, and finishing combos.
The graphics in the game are "ancient" – the 1987 game was ported to mobile platforms without significant visual changes.
Be prepared for 2D locations, small, and not very detailed characters. Strike animations leave much to be desired, but the backgrounds across locations are diverse – credit where credit is due!
