Description
Dome Keeper is a sci-fi roguelike by Bippinbits studio featuring active combat stylistics, a dark atmosphere of impregnable outer space, and unique storytelling. The developers set the events in a fictional universe revolving around an unknown pioneer who unexpectedly crash-landed on an unexplored planet. The rough landing severely disrupted the virtual Earthling's plans, but it seems the worst is yet to come, as the planet is populated by mutants who are not fond of tourists…
Gameplay, atmosphere, and events
The atmosphere of Dome Keeper on mobile platforms is instantly memorable. And the key role in everything is played not even by the graphics (although, as comments from the developers' website—available only after registration—suggest, there definitely won't be any issues with style and detail), but by the sheer madness of the enemies and the vulnerability of the protagonist.
For thousands of kilometers around, there is only emptiness—ruined remnants of unknown civilizations, frail mutant shacks, and spires jutting out of the upheaved ground. No protection—only a constant threat growing with every second. Pure madness? Or a reason to contemplate the next move? You'll have to figure such things out in the Game of the Year Edition (PC Version)!
