Description
Dev Tools is a must-have for any Android developer, as it streamlines everyday tasks and shortens the time needed to build new features. With it, you can decompile other apps, inspect the layout details of other applications, pick colors from the screen using a color sampler or eyedropper, browse recent open-source projects, review activity history, read the manifest of any app, check recently used or installed applications, extract APK files and similar resources, debug applications, and look up information about your phone's hardware and software.
New open-source projects are showcased every day. Here you'll find a carefully selected, widely used Android open-source project. Managing your apps and getting details about them is easy and straightforward. A grid view lets you browse every application currently loaded on your device, along with the apps you have installed recently or use often. You can examine specifics such as the package name, version, UID, APK directory, system directory, data directory, first and last install times, component metadata, and more.
Quick access to the Developer Options menu means you can make adjustments whenever needed. Tasks that once took several seconds can now be completed with a single click. A wide range of features is available, including screen layout display, debug GPU overdraw, layout update, force GPU rendering, GPU view update, GPU rendering, pointer position display, strict mode, don't keep activities, stay awake, and running services. You can instantly check your operating system version, hardware data, screen specifications, CPU specifications, virtual machine specifications, network settings, and device ID. Popular options include the System UI Tuner, the ability to change languages, developer settings, and the "My Programs" section.
