CS16Client is a straightforward app that lets you run the classic Counter-Strike 1.6 shooter on your mobile device. Because the game files aren't bundled with the app, you'll need a licensed copy of Counter-Strike from Steam to play. Start by installing this app, then install the original game client on your device. Next, create a folder named "xash" in the root directory of your phone's storage and copy the "valve" and "cstrike" folders from the game into it. Once that's done, launch the app, point it to the "xash" folder when prompted, and you're ready to play. The core gameplay is unchanged from the PC version; the only real difference is the touch controls, which have been reworked for mobile and let you play comfortably, with almost no disadvantage compared to players on other devices.
