Description
Barony is a challenging first-person roguelike RPG that combines classic dungeon crawling with deep character progression, dangerous traps, powerful magic, and brutal combat. Enter the cursed kingdom of the vile lich Baron Herx and descend into ever-changing dungeons filled with deadly monsters, hidden secrets, legendary treasures, and mysterious artifacts. Choose from a wide variety of unique RPG classes, including warriors, wizards, rogues, and more unusual heroes, each offering a different way to approach the adventure. Every dungeon is procedurally generated, making each journey unpredictable, while permanent death ensures that every decision can have serious consequences. Collect weapons, equipment, spells, and magical artifacts, develop your character, and master the game’s complex systems as you attempt to break the lich’s curse. Inspired by classic RPGs such as Ultima Underworld, System Shock, and Daggerfall, Barony delivers a demanding old-school adventure where preparation, exploration, and quick thinking are essential for survival.
